This is the collection of literature on the history of Hungarian trade, as well as on trade related special branches of science and other related sciences. Especially important is the collection reflecting the commercial upheaval at the end of the 19t century, which is obviously related to the upswing of the capitalist change in Hungary towards the end of the century. The school books mostly in German, are real museum pieces from the former Academy of Commerce at Pest form the basis of the library collection, which the successor institution of the Academy, the College of Trade and Catering gave to the Museum as a gift. One of the first among the donors was the Lengyel Gyula Vocational School of Commerce, the successor institution of the High School of Commerce of the Academy of Commerce, but other vocational schools at Pest and in the provinces also helped our library to grow.
