FREE ENTRY

(194/2000 (XI.24)) is a citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA):
• children under the age of 6
• person above the age of 70
• disabled person and one accompanying person
• teachers with a valid teacher’s certificate
• people with professional admission ticket issued by a minister
• members of a professional organization with a nationwide competence with a membership of at least 400 members (Pulszky Society, Association of Hungarian Librarians, Association of Hungarian Archives)

Free entry for everyone on Hungarian national holidays (March 15, August 20 and October 23) regardless of nationality.

Free entry for every EEA citizens on every third Sunday of each month if has not yet reached the age of 26, or they are accompanying a close relative under the age of 18 (up to 2 persons)

FURTHER PROVISIONS

• It is only possible to take photos and videos for private purposes without the use of a flash or tripod, the ticket prices include the possibility of photography. Photographing for publication purposes, as well as the use of a flash and a tripod, requires a director’s permit at one of the museum’s contact details.
• Only small handbags and backpacks can be brought into the exhibition spaces. Larger bags and coats can be stored in the cloakroom.
• Eating and drinking is only possible in the designated venues, it is forbidden in the exhibitions.
• All areas of the museum are non-smoking.
• Our institution is a dog-friendly museum.
• We would like to draw the attention of our Visitors to the fact that by purchasing tickets for the museum’s events and programs, Visitors accept that video and audio recording can be made throughout the museum. In connection with the use of the recording, visitors may not make any claim against the venue of the event, the organizers or the creators of the recording, or the users of the recording on any other valid title.
