This database is a collection for records that help in scientific processing and research work. We store them in order of arrival, in numerical order. Searching according to individual topics is supported by index cards and a online database. Notes can be divided into two parts:
• One part is closely related to certain objects, they facilitate their evaluation, recording detailed data about their originality, age, use, material, creator (manufacturer). This includes notes on the restoration work of certain objects (restoration work log), as well as translations and explanations of certain documents.
• Others can be divided into further groups:
– Manuscripts of source-value studies by external and internal researchers.
– Works submitted for tenders, theses and other manuscripts and studies.
– Memoirs, autobiographies.
– Notes and scripts related to exhibitions.
– Business lists and statistical data.
– Compilations and bibliographies related to specific topics that can be used in vocational education and outreach activities.
Our database is supplemented by our continuously expanding business cadastre and other name indexes of shops in the capital city, which make researching easier.
