In 2010, it was 125 years since the famous confectioner József C. Dobos created his wonderful cake. The book commemorates the anniversary and pays tribute to the master. The first part of the book shows the “sweet” world of the past. It discusses the birth, reception and the first years of the history of the Dobos cake, where the reader can learn about the life, philosophy and perception of its inventor – not only about the cake, but about the whole gastronomy in general.
